Manchester-by-the-sea is a very special place. Since our founding in 1886, The Manchester Historical Society has depended on membership to help with our tasks of preserving the town’s archives and artifacts and of maintaining a library and museum that make our town’s history accessible to all.
There are many benefits of becoming a member of the Manchester Historical Society:
- Newsletter - You will receive our informative quarterly newsletter and invitations to attend our events and programs.
- Educational Programs - We host educational programs for our members throughout the year that are both informative and entertaining. We also have a curriculum whereby we bring each elementary school grade in for programs at least once per year and participate in a comprehensive program for grade three.
